Hi! I'm Sam. I'm a filmmaker and a 3D artist, and this is the home of my personal projects.
In 2025, I decided to kick into higher gear some films I've been working on for much longer than I care to admit, starting with the adventurous pirate short Captain Redbeard and the Kraken.

Regardless of the sunny summer weather, these are shady times.
A mysterious pirate lord has his eye on a treasure of unimaginable value, while an undead sailor desperately tries to return to the world of the living.
Meanwhile, a short-tempered captain is doomed to forever evade the hungry lust for vengeance of the crushing tentacles of the Kraken...

- Software
While working on my projects, I tend to keep track of all the mouse-clicking and keyboard-typing that I'd like to be lazier about. I'm not a professional software developer by any stretch of the imagination, so this is my messy, chaotic excuse for an animation/VFX production pipeline. One that lets me spend less time fighting the process and more time making the things I actually want to make. And everything needs a name, right?
